“She is thankful for the abundant beauty around us; her desire is to paint God’s creation with the abilities God has given her. “
Bonnie Rinier specializes in wildlife portraits. She emphasizes the character and personality of each animal and makes them seem almost touchable. Her work is described as soft and expresses dimension whether it’s in watercolors or acrylics, or oils.
Bonnie also enjoys painting landscapes and flowers of places she’s visited. Bonnie’s love for nature began in grade school and continues today as she realistically depicts mountain lions, giraffes, pandas, birds and other wildlife with a painterly style and many times, a push of color.
In the classes that she teaches, she has a desire to see her students find the same child-like fascination with animals and art that we often see in young children. Bonnie is thankful for the abundant beauty around us; her desire is to paint God’s creation with the abilities God has given her.
