Kathleen JohnsonGlass

Kathleen began working with glass during college, creating stained glass pieces to help fund her education. Years later, while practicing as a veterinarian, she discovered fused glass as a creative outlet and source of relaxation. Now semi-retired from veterinary medicine, she has the freedom to fully develop this longtime hobby into a dedicated art practice.

Drawing inspiration primarily from nature, Kathleen creates both functional and purely artistic works in fused glass. Born in Banning, California, she currently divides her time between Arizona and California.
