Birds love her handmade homes because they are built specifically to their liking. Many small cavity-nesting birds, like the chickadee, nuthatch, titmouse, wren, etc., use her handcrafted birdhouses. Larger box-dwelling birds, such as American bluebirds, house sparrows, house finches, violet-green swallows, woodpeckers, and screech owls, also use houses but require a slightly larger box and entrance hole.
