“Even a simple meal (tomato soup from a tin) becomes a satisfying and Nourishing experience when eaten from an original, handmade bowl.”

Nourishing is a focus of Rebecca’s artwork. Her practice centers well-being, generosity, trauma recovery, and connection.

In 2020, she completed her MFA in Studio Art at Cal State University, San Bernardino. Along with conceptual work addressing food insecurity (#EMPTY), her studio work also includes fine craft. The heirloom quality dinnerware she offers comes from her home studio in Riverside, California.

Rebecca began making dishes in 2020, after art school. Since that first handbuilt bowl, her work has evolved into this winsome, organic, small batch, high-fire, food safe; dishwasher friendly collection. Even a simple meal (tomato soup from a tin) becomes a satisfying and Nourishing experience when eaten from an original, handmade bowl.

Please touch, hold and even caress the work. Look for her imprint on each thoughtfully formed piece. Notice the feel; weight of a plate or tumbler. Imagine the home-y, Nourishing moments you can create at your table for friends, or your own sweet self.
