Richard’s imagination is challenged the most when creating art from Found Objects. Assembling them together and adding Acrylic paint gives them a new meaning and singular identity as art.

His work ranges from fanciful and humorous to exciting and evocative. His objective is to rouse feelings within the viewer.

Various forms of art have always been a part of his life, including creating award winning fine woodworking for most of his adult life. His 30 year career as a Computer Systems Analyst / Programmer also involved creativity and imagination. Now retired, he is free to create art full time.

Richard’s middle name is his Father’s first name. He was a visual artist and a writer who did not develop his talents fully and did not identify himself with these designations. His creative and artistic talents come from him and Richard honors his name, memory and unfulfilled artistic capability, by always including his father’s middle initial in his own name as an artist.
