Acrylic Sonia Sleeger

“She Loves to create original pieces using different mediums.”

Sonia’s art journey began six years ago after many years as a caregiver for her aunt who was an Alzheimer’s patient. Art was a way to relieve stress. Sonia is thankful for the support of her family throughout her journey into art.

She started out by creating pieces for friends and family. In addition, she joined an art group in Claremont, Ca. This led her to join the Pomona Valley Art Association which gave her the confidence to begin selling her artwork to the public. She loves to create original pieces using different mediums.

Currently she is  a board member in charge of the monthly art show at the Pomona Valley Art Association. She also belongs to the Corona Art Association.

Her artwork is currently on display at Gallery Soho in Claremont, Ca. In addition, she has a solo exhibit at the Forum Bookstore in Claremont. She also exhibits at the Blue Door located in the Riverside Art Museum and the Corona Art Association Boutique in Corona.
